So it's the beginning of the 3-day festival of Eid, which according to Wikipedia commemorates Abraham's "willingness to sacrifice his son for God." For us, it means a week off of school...FINALLY!!! The Sama flu finally caught up with me, so I've mostly spent my days napping, chatting in the dining hall, reading MLIA and watching YouTube videos, and browsing websites like this one. Mixed in with that was an absolutely fantastic afternoon spent exploring Abu Dhabi's bus system, a not-so-enjoyable Kanye West concert, a roomie dinner date to Fuddrucker's with Cassie, a trip to the public beach (which turned out to be way too full of creepers) and a game of sardines in Sama Tower. Yay!
Also, Shaked, if you are reading this, it has been decided that the hippie pants you gave me look like they belonged to MC Hammer...which made them very useful in a spontaneous rendition of "U Can't Touch This" in the flashback tour of 90s music that happened earlier today.
